Now as you may (or may not) already know, Club Penguin (the desktop version) is shutting down on March 29, 2017.

In a nutshell, the childhood game for many kids (including yours truly) Is shutting down in favour of a version for the new-age millenial kids with them fancy iPhones/iPads/iPod Touches in freaking Grade 5.
The game, launched on October 24th, 2005 by RocketSnail Games and New Horizon Interactive, later to be bought by Disney on August 1, 2007 for a deal valued over $700 Million, with an additional $350 million if performance goals were met by 2009 (which it far exceeded and surpassed!)
Rather, a new app for iOS and Android is launching, called "Club Penguin Island"
...this will be rather interesting :P
